Wayfarers

Are you 55 or older and would like to do things with others from Hodges? Wayfarers is for you! Once a month, usually the 3rd Thursday, we go somewhere together to see, learn, fellowship, eat and have fun. Several times a year our outings are overnighters but most of the time we do day trips. You may participate in any of the activities that you like. We do request to know who is going each time a few weeks in advance so reservations and or arrangements can be made.

If you are interested in participating, please email hramjfrd@comcast.net or call 641-0728 and let us know. If there are any others in the church you think might be interested, please share this information with them. Attached is a copy of the proposed schedule for 2012. If you have any trouble opening it, let us know and we will work something out for you.  If you are receiving emails about Wayfarers from us and don't want to get them, please let us know and we will remove you from the email list.

Proposed Wayfarers Schedule

For 2012

This is a proposed schedule for 2012 Wayfarers Activities.  If a change is made, an Email will be sent out.  In most cases reservations will need to be made in advance.  We always eat and share the cost of gas.

February 16 – MacClenny Heritage Center, Lunch at Shack by the Track in St. George, Depart the church at 9:00am.  Need to know if you are going with us by February 10^th.

March 14 & 15 – Epcot Flower and Garden Festival and a Braves Baseball Game.  Need to know of your interest by February 15^th.

April 19 – Houseboat on the Suwanee River, $35.00 per person, max. 15 people.  Need to know of your interest by February 15^th.

May 17 – Harper’s Lake House, Melrose Butterfly farm

June 14 – Second Thursday - Sally Industries – Reservations for 15 at 10:00am

July 19 – Alhambra Theater – “Hank and My Honky Tonk Heroes”

August 16 – Theater Jax – Plays will not be set until late April.  Will advise.

September 19-20 – Savannah

October 6 – Saturday - St. Johns River Keeper Tour 9:00-12:00 noon, Ft. Caroline to Kingsley Plantation by water taxi.  $20 per person.

November 15 – Cumberland Island - $22 per person for ferry to the island and $12 per person for the riding tour on the island.

December 6 – Peterbrook Chocolate Factory, Gingerbread houses and dinner.

January 17 – planning get together.

Extra Outing – March 3, Saturday, St. Johns River Keeper Tour 10:00-Noon, On the St. Johns and Ortega River.  $15 per person.  Need to know of your interest by February 15^th.
